Need a hand? Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you, usually within one business day. Please include your phone model and what you were doing when the problem happened.
Scanning tips
- Lay the card on a plain, darker surface in good light. CardRolo finds the edges and captures it.
- Scan the back too if it has details. You can add the back later from the card.
- Anything CardRolo isn't sure of is highlighted on the Check this card screen. Fix it with a tap before saving.
- If a card comes out sideways or upside down, use Turn. If the edges are off, drag the corners.
Saving to your contacts (iCloud and Google)
Tap Save to Contacts on a contact. The first time, your phone asks for permission. You can change this later in your phone's settings under CardRolo.
Syncing: saved contacts live in your phone's own address book, so your iCloud or Google account syncs them to your other devices like any other contact. On iPhone, new contacts go to your default account (Settings → Apps → Contacts → Default Account). On Android, they go to your Google account.
Exporting
Use Export on the Contacts list to download a CSV spreadsheet (opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets) or vCards for Outlook, Google Contacts or a CRM.
Moving to a new phone
Your contacts are on your phone, so they move with your phone's backup (iCloud Backup or Google backup), or export them and import the file on the new phone.
Purchases
- Restore purchases: in CardRolo, open Settings and tap Restore purchases (use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with).
- Cancel or refund: purchases are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com/store/account).
Deleting your data
Delete contacts in the app and empty the Trash, or uninstall CardRolo. See the Privacy Policy for details.
